Description
MortonScarr Architects acheived planning approval for this replacement house in the Surrey countryside in summer 2019.
The site is located within the greenbelt and in the grounds of a larger manor house. This new family home will replace two existing workman's cottages on the site which have become tired and dated.
The ground floor of the house is formed by a white concrete plinth with extruded canopies and large areas of glazing that allow views over the rolling countryside. The first floor bedrooms sit inside a dark stained timber clad box which sits in-bound of the larger ground floor footprint.
Works are scheduled to start on site in 2020.
