Located in central Hove, this property had been abandoned for a number of years following its previous use as a 15-bedroom care home.

MortonScarr Architects was appointed to oversee and manage the complete refurbishment of the building. This involved obtaining full planning permission for a change of use and consent for the external alterations as the property is located with a Conservation Area.

The internal layout has been completed reconfigured to create a large spacious modern family home. One of the major design moves was to demolish the floor between ground and first floors at the rear of the building to create a dramatic double height space for the kitchen. Built-in bespoke joinery has been designed to a number of spaces to help divide spaces and create a continuous design theme.
