This large back land site in Streatham, South London previously housed 40 private garages and was in a poor state of repair prior to the planning approval for six new large townhouses and six affordable apartments.

The previous planning approval had to be amended to revise the external materials and provide new layouts which were created following extensive market studies.

MortonScarr completed the technical design and provided site assistance for the duration of the works, helping to create cost efficient solutions for the Developer, without impacting the high specification finishes or high standards. A steel and timber frame was used to allow for short construction period, and a brick material was used at low level with render and a dark zinc cladding on the upper floors. Six large 5 bedroom houses step along the site and each benefits from a large garden to the rear.
