Heathervale House
Tunbridge Wells
After a year and a half on site Heathervale House is approaching the final stages of construction, and the original 1970’s office block has been transformed into a significantly larger, much more contemporary building.

With the scaffolding having recently been dropped the dark grey and bronze material palette has been revealed, as well as the beautiful louvre screens that surround the upper floors, giving the building a real presence in the wider area.

Coming up we’re excited to see the completion of the new entrance and circulation core which will complete the building.

Great to see some progress shots from one of our current projects on site. This is a new build timber framed house dug into the side of the Wiltshire hills for a beef cattle farmer. Looking forward to seeing the finished home - it has amazing views over the surrounding fields #MortonScarr #thisiswhatwedo

We’ve just submitted a planning application for this new build house on the Teign Estuary in Devon. Our clients bought a site which included some existing foundations already constructed, so we’ve re-used much of them and created a new design which features a courtyard arrangement created at ground floor, with a first floor cantilevering over a reflection pool below, supported on a slender V-shaped column. #mortonscarr #thisiswhateedo #architecture

It’s that time of year again when we have the Pre-Christmas Party office review. We print up 1 image of each of the live projects we’ve been working on and each person has 1 minute to talk about each one. The pretzels are in place... let’s begin! #weregoingtoneedabiggerwall #mortonscarr #thisiswhatwedo

MortonScarr Launch Party

We'd like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended the MortonScarr re-branding launch party last Wednesday at the Fabrica Gallery in Brighton.

It was a great evening, and an opportunity to showcase a selection of our recently completed projects, along with some of our future work. Thanks again to those who joined us!

Nothing gets the excitement going like the scaffolding coming down. We’ve added two new bronze clad storeys to this office block in Tunbridge Wells, as well as recladding the remaining exterior, adding a new lift and refitting the building internally. It’s getting there.... #thisiswhatwedo #architecture #mortonscarr

Another planning success! We’ve just received permission to extend and renovate this dilapidated Cornish granary building into an exciting new home. It features charred timber cladding to the extensions, alongside slimline sliding windows to contrasts against the historic stonework. We can’t wait to get started on site...! #thisiswhatwedo #architecture #mortonscarr
